Total Control at Your Fingertips: Introducing Our New Card Management Tools
Tags: Card Management, Digital Banking, Fraud Prevention
In Oklahoma, we value looking out for one another. Whether it’s a neighbor helping clear a fallen branch after a storm or a friend recommending a local mechanic, we appreciate tools that make our lives a little easier and a lot more secure.
At First Liberty Bank, we believe your banking experience should feel the same way. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new card management feature on our online banking platform.
This isn't just a technical update; it’s about giving you the peace of mind to focus on what matters most in your life. Now, you have more power than ever to protect your hard-earned money right from your smartphone.
Why Does Enhanced Card Control Matter for You?
Life moves fast in the OKC metro. Between errands at the local market, grabbing dinner in Midtown, or heading out for a weekend at the lake, your debit card is often your most-used tool.
But with that convenience comes the need for security. The faster you can react to a misplaced card or an odd charge, the safer your finances will be.
Our new features put you in the driver’s seat of your security. You’re no longer forced to wait for business hours to protect your account if something feels off.
Freeze Your Card in Seconds
We’ve all had that moment of panic. You reach into your pocket or purse and realize your debit card isn't there. Was it left at the restaurant in Norman, or is it just tucked between the car seats?
Previously, you might have called to cancel the card immediately, only to find it five minutes later. Now, you can simply toggle your card "off" within the First Liberty mobile app.
What happens when you turn your card off?
- Instant Peace of Mind: All new purchases and ATM withdrawals are instantly blocked.
- No Permanent Hassle: If you find the card under the couch, you just toggle it back to "on" and go about your day.
- Total Flexibility: Your recurring bills (such as that gym membership or streaming service) will generally continue to process, so you don't miss a beat.
Set Boundaries for Your Spending
Budgeting is a core value for many Oklahoma families who want to make their money work harder. Our new tool allows you to set specific spending limits and alerts that help you stay on track.
You can set thresholds for transaction amounts or even restrict where your card can be used. This is a fantastic way to keep a closer eye on your Personal Checking activity without having to manually track every receipt.
By setting these boundaries, you are creating a digital safety net for your budget. It’s about being proactive rather than reactive with your financial health.
Control Where Your Card is Used
If you know you’ll be staying right here in Oklahoma for the foreseeable future, you can set your preferences to reflect that. If you decide to head out on a road trip across the Red River, a few taps in the app are all it takes to update your settings.
How do location alerts protect you?
- Fraud Prevention: If your card data is somehow used in another country, the transaction is automatically declined.
- Travel Peace of Mind: You can update your travel plans in real time without having to call the bank.
- Customized Security: Your card works where you work and stays protected where you don't.
Ready to Take Control of Your Card?
There’s no better time than right now to secure your financial future.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I access the new Card Management features?
To get started, log in to your online banking account and select Card Management from the main menu. All debit cards associated with your accessible accounts will be displayed there.
What is the difference between ‘Temporarily Disable’ and ‘Report Lost or Stolen’?
"Temporarily Disable" turns your card off until you are ready to turn it back on, which is ideal if you have simply misplaced your card. "Report Lost or Stolen" permanently disables (hot-cards) the card; you will then need to contact the bank to have it replaced or reactivated.
How do I set up alerts for my debit card?
First, select Alerts or Card Controls and choose your delivery preference—SMS, email, or both. After entering your contact information and selecting Enroll Cards, you can customize your preferences to monitor all transactions or specific activity based on dollar amount, location, or merchant type.
Can I limit where my card is used?
Yes. Through Card Controls, you can set maximum transaction amounts or monthly spending limits. You can also select specific merchant categories (such as grocery stores or gas stations) and transaction types (such as eCommerce or ATMs) that you wish to allow.
I’m planning a trip. How do I notify the bank?
Select Travel Notification within the Card Management menu. You will need to provide your travel dates, destination (domestic or international), and a contact phone number. These notifications are typically processed by the end of the same business day.
How do I get a replacement card or a new PIN?
If your card is damaged, select Order Replacement to have a new card with an updated expiration date mailed to you automatically. If you need a new PIN, select Reorder PIN. Both items will be mailed to the address on file within 7–10 business days.
What should I do if the mailing address shown in the portal is incorrect?
If you notice your address is outdated while requesting a card or PIN, do not submit the request. Instead, please contact us at (877) 889-8830 to update your information first.
